Prior to co-founding Longleaf Capital Group in 2025, Todd worked at Merrill Lynch for 27 years, where he was a Managing Director, Senior Financial Advisor. Todd began his career in 1991 as a member of the investment team at Alfa Insurance, a group tasked with managing the company’s assets.  He holds a B.S. Finance degree from Auburn University. Todd was also named to Forbes Best in State list 2022-2025.

Todd takes a holistic approach to wealth management, with the goal of advising clients on every aspect of their financial lives.  He strives every day to be an essential resource and partner to those who have entrusted him with their financial well-being.

Todd and his wife Melissa have been married 34 years and have two children and an English Cocker Spaniel named Mae. Todd enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.  He loves to play golf and thoroughly enjoys all varieties of hunting and fishing.
